About Chore Chart Builder

Chore Chart Builder is a free web tool that helps parents turn the daily "did you do your chores?" conversation into a clear, printable chart. You add your kids, pick chores from a hand-built library, assign them to days of the week, and print a chart for the fridge — in minutes, with no account and no design work.

We built it for the middle ground. A static printable means writing in every name and chore by hand each week; a full family app wants a login, a subscription, and another screen in your kid's day. We wanted a tool that does the layout thinking for you, then gets out of the way and becomes a piece of paper on the fridge.

The tool is built and operated by doubleM, the maker of free, genuinely useful web tools. We keep the tool free with advertising rather than by selling your chart data. The names, ages, chores, and assignments you enter are stored in your own browser through the chart-storage feature, and we do not receive them. Analytics and advertising services are separate, and are governed by the consent choice you make and by our privacy policy.

Have a suggestion, found a bug, or want a chore added to the library? We'd genuinely like to hear it — see the contact page for how to reach us.

Want the detail? How Chore Chart Builder works covers what the chore library contains, how the workload points are calculated, how charts are stored, and what the tool deliberately does not decide.
